Stuart Papavassiliou is a freelance writer and editor with a 15-plus year in publishing, both in web and print. Stuart served as editor of three nationally recognized trade publications serving the commercial finance industry. As editor of the Monitor and ABF Journal, he also directed the content for the publications’ companion websites www.monitordaily.com and www.abfjounal.com.
Stuart also served as editor of two leading online platforms serving the equipment leasing and finance and asset-based lending industries: www.equipmentfa.com and www.abladvisor.com. Additionally, he directed editorial content for the National Equipment Finance Association’s magazine Newsline in 2015 and 2016.
During his distinguished publishing career in commercial finance, Stuart penned more than 100 articles and conducted interviewed association and industry leaders including United States Congressman Kenneth Bentsen, and William G. (Woody) Sutton, a retired Rear Admiral of the United States Navy. Both Congressman Bentsen and Mr. Sutton were President of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association. Additionally, Stuart has interviewed several U.S. Bankruptcy Court judges; banking and commercial finance executives from the nation’s leading financial institutions; crisis management and corporate renewal professionals and scores of industry experts.
